i found the staff to be amazing. a special mention goes to henri at breakfast, he was a true gentleman. i'm glad we were at golden bay as sliema and st julian's seemed a bit busy. upgrading to a sea view suite is worth it by the way.

the hotel didn't offer early check-in when i arrived 2 hours early, so i wasn't able to access my room until the designated check-in time. i wanted to go to popeye village, but the front desk gave me wrong information, this led to a less convenient start to my stay.

Flavours restaurant had a great range of food that satisfied even fussy eaters. Henri, michelle and joy were friendly. breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options to start the day. i enjoyed the excellent service at mokka.

the hotel provides a complete gym and spa. there is a kids club available. an adults pool and sauna are present. the environment is very clean. i did enjoy the pools, especially the outdoor adults-only pool with its bar.

The hotel is next to one of the few sandy beaches. the hotel is approximately 40 minutes from the airport, access requires car hire. rabat and valletta are worth a trip. The hotel is far from large cities. the hotel has wonderful views.

the staff were very cute and helpful. the rooms were clean and the outside dining areas were also clean. the staff offered a cake made for my dietry requirements for my boyfriend birthday and it was really lovely of them.

the rooms do look a little outdated. our fridge wasnt switched on when we arrived. the heating system make too much noise. the bathroom look old.

I stayed in a Premium Suite Country View. The suite was well kept. There was a functional kitchen. The terrace had good views. The hotel ensured towel rules were in place to prevent lounger reservations. I really appreciate that the towel rules were strict, and the staff enforced them.

The parking was small, which sometimes made finding a spot difficult!

The hotel staff ensured guests felt welcomed. They always greeted everyone with smiles. The staff organized transport. They ensured I got proper support. Henri especially cares for the guests, always making sure everything is how it should be.

The pools were well-kept. Plenty of sun loungers were available for every guest. The food was delicious. The restaurants tailored to specific needs. There is a dedicated area on the beach. It is fantastic to have a choice of pool or beach.
